Good day,

Took me the whole day to encode the first chapter of the REAL Bespren story. It could have been done faster but i am just too lazy to do so. There is no rush anyway, its just for self satisfaction for sure just like Mpex.

Anyway i saw some good pics taken showing how cold it is in Baguio. Sorry i cant post them here since i still have to ask permission from the owner. (YES THAT IS HOW YOU DO THAT! THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL RESPECT TO INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS!) Unlike many people out there who just COPY and then PASTE what is not theirs.

Anyway moving on, my fingers did some good exercise. Yesterday was tiring since i did comm works. Took a break today because i had this itch to write Bespren. Tomorrow is another day since i will be doing comm works until i dont know.

I still have not adjusted well to my new internet connection. I thought i would be happier with a faster connection but honestly I am quite sad. LOL! I am used to downloading my favorite shows from 10am to 4pm. Today i finished them all before lunch time. LMAO!

I am missing those glances on my other laptop where the downloading happens. Around 1pm before i still see the Internet Download Manager working but today oh boy it was idle with all lined up COMPLETED

Its just so sad ahahahaha.

I cant believe during breaks i am watching Youtube! I never liked watching there but i told you i have this itch to keep my internet connection busy. Oh yeah i was amazed with that homeless guy who had a golden voice. Cleveland offered him a job! Great! Then next time we see him he will be clean shaven and well dressed plus a few pounds added. I do hope he does not relapse to his addiction.

I watched an episode of a morning show where local artists where complaining of foreign artists. Do you really want to know why less Pinoys do watch local artists' concerts? So simple, we can watch them for free every Sunday. Blame the ratings war!

You see them often on TV every Sunday and then you still want to watch their concert? Of course people would rather shelve out money to watch artists they rarely see. The artists they only hear on the radio.

Do you see Lady Gaga every Sunday on TV? LOL! Or that bunot haired kid who teens love in a TV show belting out his songs? Of course not!

Its the same thing when our local artists go abroad to do concerts. A lot of fellow Pinoys do go watch them. Why? Because they rarely see them, unless if they have TFC or the GMA counterpart.

Its just a case of over exposure. So if you want your fellow countrymen to watch your concerts, make sure you are not seen weekly on TV.

Parang teleserye sa mga local channels...."SILA NANAMAN?" ahahahaha. "Ginaya nanaman?"

Sanayin niyo na no! Sila yung mabentang artists e at mas madali mangopya ng kwento kesa gumawa ng bago. Sabay maririnig mo yung rason na, "Its not copied, the concept is just the same. The story is different" Hahahahaha.

9.6 Degrees Celcius

Good day,

9.6 degrees celcius. Yes that is our temperature this morning according to whoever is measuring it. And there is news that there are lots of visitors coming to Baguio to experience the cold weather. They picked the perfect time to come.

Starting January 1 we did have 12 degrees celcius as a constant temperature. The whole December it was just playing between 15-17 perhaps and going down to 14 or 13 in the wee hours of the morning. January 2 we had 11 degrees, January 3 we had 10 and yesterday they said we had 9.8 degrees celcius.

Suddenly Baguio has been a hot topic again. I say come everyone and feel the chill LOL! Go to La Trinidad instead and you get 5 degrees celcius or even lower.

Anyway yesterday i ranted about my internet connection. After having my daily sunbath, oh yes trust me you really need it. A utility vehicle arrived and finally we got connected.

I was currently downloading a movie, i checked the Internet Download Manager speed at it read, 46kbps. Average 40-50kbps.

So i went out to supervise the installation. Being a licensed ECE by profession, i knew what was needed to have a clean line. (Evil Grin)

The line post was just fifteen feet away from the house...PERFECT! MAXIMUM CONNECTIVITY with less drop. Oh yes the farther away you are from the line post there will be line losses.

So next thing i made sure they connected a really flawless line, i made them raise the phone line, really far away from the electric line or even cable. Then inside the house, i made sure the line had a short route (the longer the wire the more chance of loss)

After a few minutes i disconnected from my Globe Wireless Broadband modem and tried my new PLDT DSL connection.

Internet Download Manager check speed....120-150kbps download speed. Speed test check...1.03mbps download, 500kbps upload. Great! Just what i paid for LOL!

Now wala na ako madownload!!! Natapos agad wala pang isang oras!!! Two movies that is ahahaha.

It was years ago i was depending on that noisy modem! 3kbps download speeds was already great that time. Then two years ago Globe arrived giving me DSL power. And now PLDT has given me more power. Crap now i regret downloading movies last December. I filled up my two external HDDs.

No i dont depend on torrents! They are crap!

I download using file sharing hosts. I started with Rapidshare. I have been with Rapidshare for several years. Trust me the money is worth it. Couple Rapidshare with Internet Download Manager and you are good to go.

A few month ago Rapidshare suddenly changed. They made things really difficult. So there were uploaders who used them less. Sad to say my account will expire on Feb 4. At least there are still uploaders using it so big thanks.

I got a Hotfile account recently, good for 6 months. That cost me 35 dollars. Well worth it. You can just pile up your downloads in Internet Download Manager and go do other stuff. Right now i am using Rapidshare and Hotfile at the same time.

Without an account you can download at speeds of 10-20kbps. With an account you get 40-50kbps and no waiting time whatsoever, with resume support just in case something happens and you can use download managers.

Now with a 120-150....oh wait last check 170kbps....120-170kbps speed i expect to but another external HDD soon...ahem 1TB or 2TB? Yes i am a movie and TV series freak, add anime to the mix and what do you expect.

So how do i find time to write and watch? Easy! I dont sleep LOL!

Do i take back my rant yesterday? Hell no! Expect me to rant again when something crappy happens ahahaha. Oh trust me when i rant its not limited to the blog. I do send them several love letters through email plus personal calls to all their hotlines.

Should i sent a thank you note now? Nah! LMAO!

Good Morning! Freezing morning that is.

I watched the news last night, PAG-ASA said that Baguio City's temperature would even dip some more. So January 1 we had 12 degrees celcius, January 2 we had 11 degrees celcius, January 3 we had 10 degrees celcius, and they say we are going to reach 9 degrees too.

Little did they know we might have even reached 9 already or even 8. Trust me we know when the temperature goes down because the cold is already painful. Once you reach 12 degrees, well for Baguio residents we do say its cold already LOL. We are used to 15 degrees being the standard, visitors would already shiver at this point.

We Baguio residents start to feel cold at 13 degrees or lower. 10 degrees celcius is already painful a bit. You can feel pins trying to pierce your skin. Lower than 10, the more pins there are LMAO! I have tried 5 degrees i think, when we were at Mount Pulag. It was a camping trip and Brokebackness was so much welcome ahahahaha! Excuse me up to embracing only! Still it felt awkward but you really need the body heat.

Try wearing all your packed shirts, two socks, shorts, jogging pants and on top of that jeans. My shoes wanted to explode already since my padded feet wont fit in already ahahaha. Then we wear a thick jacket and a bonet. This is the day you wished you could borrow the bonnets of bank robbers where your eyes are the only ones exposed.

With all the clothes you still feel cold but the problem is when you feel like urinating ahahaha. Specially early morning, boy does your urine really smoke!

Boil water for coffee and drink it immediately or else it becomes cold coffee in a span of five minutes and iced coffee in ten. And no we dont urinate ice ahahaha. That was just a joke of course to have a laugh after the embracing inside the tent ahahahaha.

So in the last year we had lots of news about motorcycles...."Isang motor bumangga sa poste, driver PATAY!!"

"Isang motor bumangga sa taxi, PATAY!"

"Dalawang motor nagbanggaan!" - WTF! Ang liit na nga di pa sila nagkaiwasan? Gaano ba kalaki ang mga motor na yan? ahahahha

Lots of fetuses found on airports and even planes. Excuse me po! Kung gusto niyo maglandi sa ibang bansa gumamit ng proteksyon!!! Long distance relationships....dont even get me started. If you are married and get pregnant by another person, DONT COME HOME! Mahiya ka naman!

At hindi po magiging foreign citizen ang anak niyo pag sa airport kayo nanganak! Kailangan nasa ere kayo sa ibang bansa, DUH! At pag preggy kayo may kailangan pa kayong pirmahan hehehe. Mautak na ang mga air liners ngayon.

Another irritating thing...Please sa Facebook pag maglagay kayo ng status message na sa tingin niyo maganda basahin niyo naman ten times! Wrong grammar na nga kayo pa mismo nag like! Ang masahol may ibang nag like pa! Ahahahaha that says a lot trust me. In short birds of the same feather do really flock together.

Pero ikaw mismo mag "like" sa post mo? Thats what you call NAKAKAAWA! Konting pride naman diyan.

I dont know what is wrong with my fingers. They just cant keep still!

Maybe they want a warm up for the next few days will be very busy as i start writing again. So here i am ranting again. Being alone is much fun by the way. I just had early lunch so that the food will go down right making me ready to do the Shembot later...LMAO!

While eating i watched a show on TV5...I thought it was Jerry Springer but Pinoy version LOL. Once again no originality but what the heck if it sells why not. Why waste time thinking of an original concept? Its all about the money and ratings anyway.

Okay so there were two huge bouncers named B1 and B2, what the heck?! They knew that the two people would clash and still they didnt prevent them. They let them trade a few hair pulling and slaps and then they did their work. Para sa ratings! ahahahaha. Ika nga e Spice it up a bit.

So after watching the dishes wash themselves im back at the driver's seat in front of the TV. Quick check on my Internet Download manager...two files pending...download rate 50kpbs...one hour to finish. Great! After that i have no files to download anymore.

So there goes the excitement for my new internet connection. I see no point having a faster net speed with no files to download. Oh yes i have this sickness that makes me want to download stuff constantly. I get irritated when i see my net connection idle. No, i dont watch videos on the net. Except for funny short clips that is.

Quick channel change...THE NEWS!!! Wow so yummy longganisa and something with tomato sauce...CRAP!!! It isnt food! They are the victims of the fireworks!!! LOL!

"Ligaw na Bala", yeah i know what it means but the funny side of my brains tells me its Angelina Jolie firing a curving bullet from the movie Wanted. LMAO! That was such a crappy movie, they want us to believe that we can curve bullet trajectory once in leaves the barrel. Its possible but you have to be very strong.

Just look at the baseball pitchers. They can really twist the ball good! Tried that even in bowling, PEKTUS!!! Oh yeah it works. Its all in the fingers and wrists. What seems to be a straight ball suddenly curves midway...how cool is that? But you cant do that with bullets!!!

Or maybe they could do that...just watch most action flicks most specially the Pinoy action movies ahahaha. Oh yeah the "bida" is either super evasive or the villains and that dumb firing their weapons...ooops...maybe they curve their bullets LOL!!!

Oh i watched UFC something yesterday. PINOY PRIDE!!! EPIC FAIL!!! Sorry but i really felt sad watching Brandon get badly beaten up like that. Three rounds of being pinned to the ground. That last round making it much worse because his oppenent was at his back! Gosh i suddenly remembered those two coyboys on that mountain. (Wait let me puke first)

Okay, so Silva was at the back of Brandon, both were kneeling. The Pinoy was protecting himself and Silva just bitch slapped him from the back LMAO! Literally! Left, Right, Left, Right slaps! Then to add insult to injury he played the drums of Brandon's back and he really did an FPJ move by hitting Brandon with two open fists on his ears AHAHAHAHA! Seriously he did.

In the end Brandon got a severely broken nose. As in broken bridge, that is why he covered his face with his cap at the end. Geez i didnt know it could break that way...it was really crooked! Oh it wasnt a slap that did that, it was a wayward punch from the back from Silva.

Sayang! How i wish our countrymen dont try that hard shooting up to fame ASAP. They should be like Manny. Slowly but surely. Well the others want it bigtime ASAP so we cant blame them. Just like in business, others want to hit it big at first try. They dont want the spare change, they want the paper!

Saw a movie trailer, how the heck would you get a goose with a human face? No wonder they didnt earn that much LOL.

I know what movie will be present on the next MMFF! Of course Shake Rattle and Roll. DUH! i dont know what number but for sure it will be a mix of big name stars doing horror.

So if you are a budding actress, how do they make you famous? Simple, give you a teleserye where you get to show some skin. ACTRESS...ACTOR....the key word is ACT!!! Geez its not face or body! But of course its about the money and not the quality i forgot.

Stupid story....take the hottest actor and the hottest actress....the fanatics wouldnt care about the story. Hahahaha.

First Monday 2011

I started watching Seikon no Qwaser yesterday morning and up to last night i ended up at episode16. I still have 8 more episodes to finish today. I must say this anime has indeed a lot of eye candy LOL.

I do love Full Metal Alchemist. Yes, i did watch the first, second series and the movie. So i read the review of Seikon no Qwaser and saw it was also about alchemists. I donwloaded it and wow alchemy with a twist i should say.

Oh yes we do have the iron alchemist, the copper alchemist, the oxygen, the gold, the fire, etc etc. So what makes this different? They have to drink "SOMA" in order to power up. Soma as in breast milk LMAO!!! So yes its full of nudity. Aside from the nudity, the story is quite solid but there are just too many girls ahahahaha.

Great news...PLDT called up and said they cant find my house. Holy crap! How is that possible when they connected my neighbor weeks ago, and yes they are just in front of my house. Another neighbor just beside my house even got connected and now they say they dont know where my house is at. Lame excuse i should say for lazy people.

I did call the national hotline and oh boy they really gave that excuse. The problem with contractors is that if there are no connections for the day then "wala kita" so when they have reached the daily quota they can leave the rest for another day. CRAP!!!

So at the end of the day i am gonna get a faster internet connection plus landline. Just in time when i got no more stuff to download LOL. Yeah i filled up my two external HDDs last December.

I was about to do some keyboard bashing and write some new stuff but why waste my time? I was about to start my comm works but my fingers are frozen solid. My legs too! Hahaha. Try waking up to 10 degrees celcius.

I did some sun bathing around 8am, boy did it work. The sad part is that staying out too long will be very painful for the sun rays is that damaging. So back in the house...a few minutes later its cold again. Solution...connect the laptop to the TV and start watching again.

Last night i had a dream, i was walking along the beach hahaha. I saw two sets of footprints...but it was Saturnino's and they mystery girl...and it wasnt the beach...it was the hidden place of Brod and Brad.

I know some readers know what i am talking about, "Oo nanggaling na ako dito may kasama akong babae. Eto o may SS dito sa puno"

Remember that line? So still wondering who that mystery girl is? Was it premonition? Maybe but in his dream he even visited the Lupain ng Kapangyarihan remember. So some ask is it like Back to the Future? Nah. Think deeper, and if it was from a future scene how did he write SS on the tree and make it present in the past? Hahahaha

Someone wrote that SS and its not from the future. Well that dream state of his shall be revealed on the second book. Yes its more explosive compared to the first book. What do you expect Grandpa is now interested in Saturnino.

So with The Tagapagmana finished, the second book takes a new twist. In the end of Book 1 he asked that all their memories be wiped out even their powers. So what now? How does he face those enemies? Hahahaha. One thing for sure its going to be funnier and it will include a bit of heavy drama and more fighting scenes since there are more enemies now, powerful ones that is since the Pinto ng Lakas is already open.

So i am still lazy. Video mode On!

I always thought it was a sound. Blog! Oh there goes the big dictionary on the shelf falling down on his head...Blog! And yes there he is sprawled on the floor all dizzy. Of course i did not include the unwanted vocabulary after the dictionary hit his head and more of that when he slowly rises up.

Anyway moving on, I am currently enjoying my vacation. The past few days made me ponder on so many things. Maybe writing is not for me after all. I thought it could serve as my new career but no matter how many stories I still have inside my head, I guess the majority would like it for free.

I have noticed lots of avatars containing people holding their DSLR cameras and taking a photo of themselves. Its either they are bragging that they have a DSLR or that is the only good picture they can take with their expensive camera.

Anyway I too have decided to take up photography. Oh trust me not the one with Photoshop enhancing afterwards. Start from the basics...again! Yeah because years ago we were only limited to 36 shots and every shot counts or else...go figure!

Nowadays, point...shoot...Photoshop! LOL! That aint photography. I do believe its an art, you have to learn the basics and not just shelve out a huge amount of money and strap that expensive DSLR around your neck. And when you take a shot you dont even know how to use it LMAO!

I saw a good "bridge camera", yeah thats what they call it. The GE X5, looks like a DSLR camera but it isnt. What the heck do i know? I didnt even know GE had cameras. I thought they made refrigirators. And the funny part is that the GE X5 comes in two colors, black and white.

Imagine if i did buy the white one...its like strapping a refrigirator around my neck. So i still have not bought it, still choosing the best starter kit. The GE X5 does sell for less than 10k mind you and it has 14 megapixels and a mean 15x optical zoom.

I did see some reviews and oh yes they do have a Pinoy GE X5 Enthusiasts page with 700 plus members. Oh that means a lot are using it already so it makes the decision making simpler. I wonder if GE would give that camera to me for free? Of course not! If you want something go and buy it LOL! Or wait for your friends to give it to you LMAO!

So why a bridge camera? Why not get a DSLR at once? Because i want to learn and get the hang of "REAL" photgraphy before i go DSLR. I still need to learn the aperture, shutter and ISO stuff before i go DSLR. Why would I get an expensive DSLR when in the end i dont have the eye for photography? So what if i got myself a 150k camera and i take crap pictures? It would be better having a decent bridge camera and work myself up. Besides i am doing this only during my free time.

So how desperate am i to learn? Oh i will be buying the camera soon along with a book from National Bookstore, forgot the name, Total Digital Photography i think by a guy names George something. So sorry, i just heard some pros talk about it. And no i wont be installing Photoshop LOL.

How the hell am i going to learn if i have Photoshop to rely on? And yes i wont even take a photo of myself using the camera and posting it as my avatar or profile picture.

So for 2011, its going to be commissioned works to pay the bills and on my free time its learning photography (non Photoshop) and ranting on this blog too.

Last days of my vacation and i already booked six commissioned works, four vacant slots left. (This is my limit, 10 Comm works) Tomorrow will be keyboard bashing day again to start one comm work which is due by the weekend.

Already lazy encoding ebooks. Waste of time. Better focus on comm works thus forcing me to add to the comm works menu list all of my non encoded and unwritten stories. Its practicality and common sense.

I have this itch...i wanna learn the saxophone too. I used to play the flute...yes that was early 2008 then sh*t happened so i started writing.

So Happy New Year everyone.
